Minutes to Midnight (Detik-detik Menjelang Tengah Malam) adalah album ke-3. Album Minutes to Midnight dirilis setelah selama 4 tahun tidak merilis album studio. Semua lagu di album ini ditulis oleh Linkin Park. Mike Shinoda ikut memproduseri album ini bersama Rick Rubin, mantan anggota Beastie Boys.

Dalam waktu sebulan, album Minutes to Midnight berhasil meraih penghargaan platinum di AS Kira-kira 624 ribu keping album Minutes to Midnight terjual tiap minggunya. Penghargaan platinum ini diberikan oleh Asosiasi Industri Rekaman Amerika (RIAA) kepada Linkin Park. Angka penjualan ini membuat album Minutes to Midnight menjadi album pertama yang memperoleh penghargaan platinum selama tahun 2007. AlbumMinutes to Midnight total telah terjual sebanyak 3,3 juta keping di seluruh dunia dan mendapat penghargaan double platinum. Album ini dimasukkan pula oleh majalah Rolling Stone di peringkat 25 dalam daftar 50 album terbaik tahun 2007.
